Dr. Erin Van Veldhuizen, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Erin Van Veldhuizen graduated Cum Laude from Northwestern College in Orange City, IA with a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and Health Professions. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Anatomy and a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness. Dr. Erin graduated Magna Cum Laude from Parker College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. She was named Who’s Who Among Students in American Colleges and Universities for three consecutive years. In 2014, Dr. Erin earned her Diplomate in functional neurology from the American Chiropractic Neurology Board. The DACNB achievement means that Dr. Erin has over 300 hours in post-graduate functional neurology training and passed rigorous boards and practical exams.
Dr. Erin has over 400 hours of training in functional medicine and over 400 hours of training in functional neurology. Dr. Erin focuses on functional medicine, functional neurology and neurological rehab, camera thermography and women’s health, prenatal and pediatric care, cranial adjusting, soft tissue rehabilitation, and allergy elimination. Her practices emphasize whole-body wellness and corrective care. Dr. Erin is passionate about helping ALL patients receive safe and natural care for the whole body and whole family. She values communication and education in order to help patients understand their role in their health and the CAUSE of their symptoms or conditions.
Dr. Spencer Zimmerman
Dr. Spencer Zimmerman, DC, graduated from Parker University in Dallas, TX with a Bachelor of Science in Health and Wellness and Doctorate of Chiropractic. Dr. Zimmerman has completed over 300 hours in post-graduate functional neurology training and over 150 hours in functional medicine. He is currently attending UT Arlington to receive a Bachelor of Science in Nursing with intentions of receiving a Masters of Science in Nursing as a Nurse Practitioner.
Dr. Zimmerman focuses on functional medicine and functional neurology helping those who present with a diversity of issues. This includes those who have headaches, migraines, fatigue, balance disorders, and decreased motor function related to a wide variety of causes such as concussion, neurodegenerative diseases, or trauma.
Dr. Zimmerman is a proud husband and father of two daughters: Ava and Victoria.
Dr. Brandon Brock, Family Nurse Practitioner and Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Brandon Brock is a 1998 graduate of Parker College. He is a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board and a Fellow of the American College of Functional Neurology, American Board of Vestibular Rehabilitation, American Board of Electrodiagnostic Specialties, and International College of Chiropractors. He also serves as the chair of the American Board of Electrodiagnostic Specialties.
Dr. Brock is a family nurse practitioner and currently works in family medicine and general neurology. He also serves as a professor of clinical neurology with the Carrick Institute of Graduate Studies.
Dr. Brock has a passion for lecturing on topics related to chiropractic care, the nervous system and neurological disease, nutrition, pharmacology, immunology, family medicine, and diagnosing and treating both basic and complicated conditions. His life mission is to never stop learning, because he believes his students and clients deserve nothing less.
Rhonda Loftin, Licensed Massage Therapist and Certified Camera Thermography Technician
Rhonda has been a Licensed Massage Therapist since 2002. She is passionate about massage and has worked with a wide variety of patients and conditions. Rhonda has worked with patients who are experiencing pain and/or loss of motion in their: shoulder, neck, feet, elbow, wrist, ankle, knees, and back. She is proficient in Swedish, deep tissue, lymphatic drainage, reflexology, trigger point therapy, pregnancy, and chair massage. She enjoys working with patients suffering from headaches, swelling in the arms, chest, hands and feet, bursitis, back or hip pain during pregnancy, frozen shoulder, sprains, strains, tennis or golfer’s elbow, and over-trained muscles. Rhonda is a mom to three amazing kids that keep me happy and busy!
Jamie Wuistinger, Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Jamie graduated from Southern Methodist University with degrees in Biology and Psychology. She has always been passionate about healthcare and helping people. While at SMU, she was a student athletic trainer, which sparked her interest in sports medicine and injury rehabilitation. After working in distribution, Dr. Jamie attended Parker University for chiropractic school. She continues to pursue education in sports medicine and injury rehab.
Dr. Jamie is an avid crossfitter and runner, who has completed 6 marathons. She loves being active and outdoors. Dr. Jamie is married to her high school sweetheart, Courtney, and they have 2 fur kids, Gizmo and Syd. They are recently welcomed their first child, Skylar Grace, born in February 2014.
Jessica Patterson, Medical Assistant
I have been in the medical field for 3 years. I love helping others and learning new medical techniques. I earned my Medical Assistant Certificate from Remington College. I am Bilingual in Spanish. I am the mother of 5 beautiful children who take up most of my time. When I’m not busy with the kids, I enjoy going to the movies and baking. I am really happy to be a part of the Van Family Chiropractic and Wellness team and looking forward to many years of learning and growing with them.
